Pantea Beigi


Born and raised during the 1980s revolution and war in Iran, Pantea Beigi is now director of communications and spokeswoman for The PeaceJam Foundation based in Denver, Colorado, where she works with Nobel Peace Laureates to educate and inspire youth around the world in subjects of human rights and non-violent conflict resolution. She serves as laureate liaison for Dr. Shirin Ebadi in the international community and helped protect Ebadi and her clients during December 2008’s attacks on human rights workers in Iran. Beigi speaks on issues of human rights in Iran and youth movements around the world. She has been interviewed on CNN, MSNBC, BBC, NPR, KIRN and many other news and media outlets. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Speech Communications with a Journalism minor and is completing her Masters/PhD in International Studies with an emphasis on International Public Policy and Human Rights.
